Audio Rooms
Audio Room No.1 functions as both the Studio No.7 live capture control room and as a stand-alone editing and mixing suite. When used in conjunction with Audio/Iso Room No.2, the adjacent acoustic isolation room, you have access to a low-cost recording suite ideally suited for vocal and acoustic instrument tracking. Audio Room No.3 is another stand-alone editing and mixing suite that also interfaces directly with Audio/Iso Room No.2. With 450 sq. ft. of working space, the live capture gear palette and good acoustic isolation, the IMMERSIVE Audio Rooms are an incredibly cost-effective way to capture, edit, mix and master quality sound on a budget. IMMERSIVE STUDIOS & THE SOUTH PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL.

Well, the music poured out of Fairplay, Colorado during the weekend of September 7, 8, 9, & 10, 2006 and the rain poured down… at least for Day One of the Industry Conferences. Immersive Studios was there as exclusive sponsor of the Immersive V.I.P. Lounge, located on the ground level in the Timberwolf Lodge outside of Fairplay.

All of the industry panel discussions were lively, informative and well-attended, with an unofficial “thanks,” in part to the weather, that successfully drove many participants indoors. The industry panels covered a broad range of topics relative to indie band success from promotion, management and touring to podcasting, music licensing and our favorite, Making The Recording You Want Without Going Broke, featuring Immersive's own Michael Verdick as one of the panelists.

The rain gave way to cooler temperatures and blustery winds that may have slowed down some of the guitar solos but did little to dampen the enthusiasm of both musicians and music fans alike. Five stages were going full throttle from one end of Fairplay to the other showcasing bands and singer/songwriters from all over the country. Say what you want about this country's current inability to function competently in the world today… we still know how to ROCK! - so there's still some hope for us out there.

Heartfelt golf-claps to festival director, Matt Fecher, on another successful event. The South Park Music Festival just keeps growing and getting better and better every year. Mark-off the first weekend in September, 2007 now - if you're a music lover this is the place to come gorge on the good stuff.
