Mike Yach
Engineer
The audio engineer is the crucial link between the artist's vision and the realization of that vision. There are a lot of complex formulas and mathematical equations to achieve a high quality recording that captures the energy of the performance – but it also takes great ears and intuition to translate an otherwise simple song into a soul-clutching, musical experience. My purpose is to simplify that process down to its core.
Ryan Balentine
Engineer
Incorporating the best equipment and creative techniques in the right environment creates the opportunity to capture lightning in a bottle, ready to be sculpted into a sonic experience that will blow your mind. Part of my job is to get inside your head, hear what you are hearing and create a way for the rest of the world to enjoy that experience. You have to know what the rules are before you can break them… and none of the albums I’ve ever liked came out of a textbook.
Tony Lewis
Engineer
The biggest problem I typically encounter recording bands is that they fail to come into the studio prepared to record. Because they’ve grown up with inexpensive, home studio rigs they’ve learned to compensate for that lack of preparation with huge amounts of time. Part of what I do is to teach bands to prepare to not only to record cost-effectively, but also to build the foundation for a sustainable band career.
